| Shari Ford is an internationally recognized portrait artist who creates exceptional likenesses that capture the spirit of the individual. Her portraits are treasured by many and can be found in both private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Ford's formal training came from the University of Tennessee where she earned a B.F.A degree. She continued her education with independant studies in Europe of the Old Master's compositions and techniques. This inspired her to use a classical approach to her portraits. Ford has been featured in International Artist magazine in their Master Portrait Artist Showcase. She has also been featured in numerous other publications such as Veranda and Southern Accents magazines. "I delight in painting family portraits, imagining as I work the emotions the painting will evoke when viewed, whether immediately or years later as a treasured heirloom." -Shari Ford What Clients Say: "My family and I can't begin to express how thrilled we are with the portrait. You have captured the very essence of each of my daughters- I see their personalities as well as their beauty. Even the dogs are exactly perfect in the same way! It was a pleasure to have this experience with you! Thank you!" Wendy Alexandria, VA "Shari, today I stand in amazement at the masterpieces you created. You captured my children. They are absolutely beautiful. Looking at them throughout the day keeps me knowing my main purpose during this season of my life...being a mom. I have stopped several times during the last 2 days just to take them in because they are so very breathtaking. They remind me to STOP, thank God for my children & enjoy them. Because of your close walk with the Lord, it is obvious the Holy Spirit guides your hand in your creations. They are works of praise to our Father for the precious angels he creates. Your gentle spirit is expressed throughout your work. What an honour & privilege to be able to have my children captured forever at the precious age of 4 1/2. I look forward to seeing you in the spring. You are a blessing! " AW Huntsville, AL "I didn't want to waste any time in letting you know how pleased Shirley and I are with the painting! In fact, there's not a thing we want you to change! Thanks again for sharing your tremendous talent with us, Shari! Grace and peace to you and your family in the days ahead. Sincerely, James C.
